1. Digital Service Nature
CalicoME is a digital language learning platform. All Premium features, including AI conversation practice, graded readers, and learning analytics, are delivered instantly upon subscription activation. Due to the digital and consumable nature of our service, all sales are final once the service has been accessed.
2. No Refund Policy
As a virtual service provider, we do not offer refunds after purchase. Once you subscribe to Premium and gain access to our features, the transaction is considered complete and non-refundable. This is standard practice for digital learning platforms and SaaS products.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your Premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of your current billing period.
4. Automatic Renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You will not receive a reminder email before renewal. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before your billing date.
5. Free Tier
CalicoME offers a free tier with limited features. There is no free trial period for Premium. You may use the free features indefinitely before deciding to upgrade.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare cases where a technical error results in a duplicate charge or you were charged in error, please contact us through the Service. We will investigate and resolve billing issues promptly. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed through Paddle, our payment processor, within 5-10 business days.
